I still use that one for a backup and its age is about 10 years.
I presently have an MSI Katana / 17.3″ screen, this one also having an i7 processor with 16 Gigs of RAM.
I do no gaming, but buy them for the speed. I bought the ASUS Rog Strix before this MSI Katana, but it was bluescreening soon as I got it, so sent the little tyke back to Amazon. I asked for another, but there was none in stock, so I ended up with this MSI, which I also really appreciate.
I look forward to see what you end up with, Marc, and wish you the best with whatever one you end up purchasing.
