Yes it’s the same Maths for “Epic” and it’s Fortnite that my poor, suffering Maths Teacher tried valiantly to teach me more years ago than I remember. If X-Y=Z and Y is greater than X then Z will be negative ! Or at least I think that’s what he was trying to teach me 🙂

When a Company gets such a sudden and huge injection of cash that as Epic did during Covid, and like many lottery winners they waste the cash on stupid stuff and don’t always invest the money wisely and instead waste it on useless, costly frolics that end up in dead-ends and failures. Fighting a long and costly war with Apple and Google probably didn’t help the bottom line either. On the positive side they are still making good money with Fortnite but the credit card bill has been steadily rising and of course as usual, the lowly minions the employees are the collateral damage. No doubt the Executives aren’t having to sharpen their resume pencils !
