Actually you are in very good company as one of the best minds agreed with you. When Watson told Holmes that the Earth revolves around the Sun, Holmes responded: “Now that I do know it I shall do my best to forget it.” He saw the brain like an attic with limited space and only wanted to store facts that were useful for his work as a detective. Scientific facts that didn’t help him solve crimes, like astronomy, were unnecessary.

Haha – just keep deleting and defragging the old hard drive regularly Jim…(or TRIM if an SSD !)
