I insert the cartridges and get <strong>Error 1485<\/strong>. I removed them and then reinserted them a couple of times. I still get the same error.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">An online search indicates the cartridges may be<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> unsupported<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> They are original Canons, and I buy them from the same online source. I\u2019ve never had an issue with them.<\/p>\n<p>I eventually realized what happened. I currently have a <strong>Canon TR4720<\/strong> printer. I bought it because my <strong>Canon MG2525<\/strong> would not print full-page, borderless photos on 8&#215;11 glossy paper. The TR4720 is also wireless.<\/p>\n<p>I was going to send my MG2525 to the recycle bin, but it\u2019s now back in service because<strong> I accidentally bought the wrong printer cartridges.<\/strong> My <strong>TR4720<\/strong> takes cartridges <strong>PG-275 (black)<\/strong> and <strong>CL-276 (colour),<\/strong> but I purchased <strong>PG-245 (black)<\/strong> and <strong>CL-246 (colour)<\/strong> for the <strong>MG2525<\/strong>.<\/p><div id=\"daves-1763172960\" class=\"daves-single-post-in-content daves-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-7205184075006101\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7205184075006101\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"2700504761\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"false\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Make sure to purchase the right cartridges. If you&#8217;re sure you have the proper ones but you&#8217;re still getting the same error, unplug the power from the printer for about 60 seconds.
