It took me a while to figure it out. The hardest part was trying to find the path to the program. It\u2019s not as simple as in Windows.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/how-to-run-windows-programs-in-bottles-linux-mint\/\">How To Run Windows Programs In Bottles linux Mint<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Because the program is a Windows program that works through \u201c<strong>Bottles<\/strong>\u201d, the command to find the path in \u201c<strong>Terminal<\/strong>\u201d is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>bottles-cli programs -b BOTTLE_NAME<\/strong><\/p><div id=\"daves-2744285638\" class=\"daves-single-post-in-content daves-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-7205184075006101\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7205184075006101\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"2700504761\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"false\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Where you would replace BOTTLE_NAME with the real bottle name, in my case, PhotoFiltre. It would not work for me. I kept getting the error \u201c<strong>command was not found<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The problem seems to be that these commands may change depending on how you installed the program. \u201c<strong>Flatpak<\/strong>\u201d installations, the path will be found here:<\/p>\n<p><strong>~\/.var\/app\/com.usebottles.bottles\/data\/bottles\/bottles\/<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Non-flatpaks:<\/p><div id=\"daves-694411435\" class=\"daves-single-post-in-content-2 daves-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-7205184075006101\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7205184075006101\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"2700504761\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"false\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>~\/.local\/share\/bottles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: The \u201c<strong>Tilde or ~\u201d<\/strong> can replace the <strong>home\/name<\/strong> of the account part of the command.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/display-path-executable-file-linux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">For a more complete list of commands for finding file paths, click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After fooling around with the terminal a bit, I figured the best way to find the path was to hunt for it manually using the file explorer <strong>Nemo<\/strong>. To do this, I had to show <strong>hidden files and folders<\/strong>. Then, while holding down \u201c<strong>Ctrl + Shift<\/strong>\u201d, drag the file to your desktop. This will create a shortcut on your desktop. Double click to open.<\/p>\n<p>You will be asked to select the bottle you want to use to open the program. There is no menu option to unhide these files here, so I used the &#8220;<strong>Ctrl + H<\/strong>&#8220;. I navigated to the same folder and file, and finally have my shortcut from this method. Except there is one problem.
